Free Kindy provides eligible children with 15 hours per week for up to 40 weeks per year in a Queensland Government-approved kindy program, for free, in the year before they start school.

To be eligible, your child must turn 4 years old by 30 June in the year they attend kindergarten and meet residency requirements (Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible visa holder).

A $100 non-refundable enrolment fee is payable to confirm your position; a discount applies to concession card holders.

The centre is made up of parents who are Financial Members of the Association.  At least one parent per child must become a member in order to enrol that child at the centre.  The membership fee is $5.00.

Cancellation of a placement must be given in writing at least two weeks prior to leaving.   A child’s place may not be held if they are absent from the centre for longer than two weeks, without any communication from parents.
