Yorkeys Knob Community Kindergarten is run by a small team of qualified and highly experienced educators.
Lisa Cornish is the centre director and teacher, she is assisted by Jody Styles. Our office manager is Tina Horsfall. In 2026, the kindy self-funded a third educator for each of our kindy programs: Tomomi Brown and Tammy Searle.
All staff hold a current Blue Card & Senior First Aid Certificate, as required by Child Care Regulations 1991, and have completed the mandatory Child Safety training
Our service, management committee and educators are supported by a number of C&K visiting advisory personnel. This includes early childhood education manager, Suzy Stephens, who provides regional support for the committee, staff and parents and handles licensing and affiliation requirements. While our early childhood pedagogy advisor, Liz Smith, supports inclusion, teaching, and professional development.
